Mr. Sebastian Gold is a proud Southern California native who has lived in San Diego for the past 9 years. Sebastian is the child of Uruguayan immigrants and is a native Spanish speaker. He is passionate about working with families and was first introduced to family law at the age of 16 working as an intern preparing filings in the self-represented legal center at the courthouse in Los Angeles. Since then, Sebastian attended the University of California, San Diego and was a member of the Phi Alpha Delta professional pre-law fraternity. Sebastian completed the JusticeCorps program assisting self-represented litigants in filing family law paperwork at the South County Courthouse in San Diego and worked as a student worker for the San Diego District Attorney’s Office.

Sebastian joined the Genesis Family Law team as a law clerk after his first year of law school at California Western School of Law in 2023 and is now a junior associate. In law school, Sebastian earned the top grade in his Family Law class and in his Legal Writing class. Sebastian graduated law school and became a California licensed attorney in 2025.
