Franky Gomez was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley. Prior to law school, Mr. Gomez received his undergraduate degree in History from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Upon receiving his degree, Mr. Gomez moved to San Diego and obtained his Juris Doctorate from California Western School of Law.
During his time at Cal Western, Mr. Gomez was involved in a variety of organizations serving as President of the Children’s Advocacy Law Society and being a member of Phi Alpha Delta. Mr. Gomez received numerous awards and honors including, multiple Dean’s List recognitions, American Jurisprudence Awards, Pro Bono Honor Society Award, Outstanding Service Award, and Academic Scholarships. During his final year of law school, Mr. Gomez was awarded the Bonnie Nelson Reading Memorial Scholarship by the San Diego Family Law Bar Association. This award is provided to third-year law students who exhibit an affinity for family law and intend to make contributions to the local practice.
Mr. Gomez has demonstrated history of being involved in the family law community. He has interned with the Family Law Facilitator’s Office, Cal Western’s Community Law Project, and the Legal Aid Society of San Diego. Upon Mr. Gomez’s graduation from Cal Western in April 2021 and passing the California Bar Exam on his first attempt, Mr. Gomez began working as an Associate Attorney with Collen A. Warren, CLS-F.
When Mr. Gomez is not in the office, he enjoys trying new restaurants in San Diego with his husband and rescue dog, Buzzy.
