Richard M. Renkin has been assisting clients in the San Diego area with family law matters since 1991. He focuses his practice on representing business owners, attorneys, doctors, engineers, scientists, and other professionals and high-net-worth individuals in all matters relating to marriage, divorce, and same-sex marriages.

Richard M. Renkin is a Certified Family Law Specialist, certified by the California Board of Legal Specialization in 2005. This certification ensures that only lawyers with significant experience and knowledge of California family law become recognized by the Board. To achieve this certification, Richard demonstrated significant, recent experience in family law, satisfied intensive educational requirements, passed a written exam, received favorable recommendations from peers, and successfully represented himself in front of a panel of family law experts.

Richard is also an active member of his community, serving as a Settlement Conference Judge Pro Tem for Superior Courts and participating in various community organizations and was also named as a finalist for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Man of the Year in 2014.
