Ms. Theresa Butcher was Born and raised in Southern California, she has a passion for family law and the justice system. Her first job was a ballot collector for the Long Beach City Elections.
As a student at the California State University Dominguez Hills (CSUDH), Ms. Theresa Butcher, played soccer, was the Presidential & Dr. Hal Charkofsky award winner. As a Title IX volunteer investigator, she developed a passion for helping others. While at University of San Diego School of Law, Ms. Theresa Butcher was a founding member of the Family Law Society, ultimately serving as its president in her 3L year, and was a member of the Client Advocacy team, Vice President of Cross Racial Understanding, and was the USD SBA Social Chair.

Since Law School, Ms. Theresa Butcher has exclusively focused on family law, as a student advocate she worked in the Women’s Clinic, focusing on Domestic Violence cases, and Divorce. While in law school she began working at the Orange County DA’s office in the Sexual Assault unit. After her 2L year she has worked at Genesis Family Law, as a law clerk, then post-bar clerk, and now as a junior associate.
